Helen Foreman

MA Solicitor

Helen Foreman is the partner responsible for Franklins’ private client (wills and probate) department. Helen joined Franklins in 1999. Since 2001 Helen has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is on Mencap’s list of experienced practitioners for wills and trusts for the disabled.

Carli Colby

LLB Solicitor

Carli qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and is experienced in wills, estate administration, trusts, tax planning, powers of attorney and elderly client advice. For a time, Carli specialised in Court of Protection work including personal injury trusts. Carli speaks German, is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Megan Phillips

BA Solicitor

After graduating, Megan worked for some years as a paralegal in Leeds and London before joining Franklins to undertake her training contract. Megan was admitted as a solicitor in July 2017 and is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Linda Bunning

Secretary and Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals

Linda works mainly with Helen Foreman and has been with Franklins since 2007. Linda completed the study and assessments to be admitted as a Fellow to the Institute of Paralegals in 2015 and continues with the ongoing training required by the Institute.

Sharleen McLernan

Sharleen has worked in a number of departments since joining Franklins in 1996. Sharleen now works with Carli Colby and in 2015, was admitted as a Fellow to the Institute of Paralegals. Sharleen too carries out the continuing training required by the Institute.

Jade is a third year law student carrying out her work experience year working as a secretary for Claire Simcock and Megan Phillips.

Pam Cox

Receptionist

If you come to the office, the first person you are likely to meet is our receptionist Pam Cox. Pam joined us in 2016 after working for many years in a local GP’s surgery.
